2024 Past Events

2024 Christmas in July

This year we tried something a bit different. We realize that the economy has left us all feeling depleted. So we dropped off donation boxes at 5 locations and had a Battle of the Bars. The bar that collected the most donations was going to receive 4-hours of karaoke compliments of One is too Many. The winning bar - Legacy Whiskey has chosen a pizza party.

Through the generosity of VFW Post 8093, Dales Ales, Lake Mary Pub, Envy Tattoo, and Legacy Whiskey, we were able to make our annual donations to Residing Hope (formerly Florida United Methodist Children's Home).

2024 Seminole County Stand Down

This event will be taking place September 7. One is too Many is currently gathering funds to create 96 toiletry kits for the local homeless Veterans. During the Lake Mary Little League games, we put together the toiletry kits that included a pair of socks, wash cloth, deodorant, and personal grooming kits.

On the morning of September 7, we loaded up and went to the Seminole County Health Department with many other organizations that are there to help our Veterans (Red Cross, VA, dentists, showers, etc.), lunch was provided by Mission BBQ and Giovannis. Overall, we helped over 40 Veterans feel a little more confident and get the VA help they needed.

2024 Veterans Fall Festival

November 2, 2024 One is too Many took over the parking lot of Deltona Plaza, 1200 Deltona Blvd., Deltona, FL. Thank you to Weissman Corporation, Garito & Co. and City of Deltona for making this happen so quickly and effortlessly!!!! We welcomed the Deltona City Commissioners, Mayor Avila and Vice Mayor Jody Lee, color guard by VFW post 8093 DeBary, special appearance by Volusia County Sheriff Chitwood. We rocked out to our bands - Tom & Mark, Dave Itkin, Castle Hill, and Crowned Rebels. Unfortunately, due to the rain, Crowned Rebels didn't get to rock out in their normal fashion, they play all our events, so watch for them next time!!! Our vendors had a great time and want to come back, they ranged from informative to fun: Chad Barr Law, Seminole Co. Veterans, Volusia Co. Veterans, Wreaths Across America, Crunch Fitness Deltona, Devoted Health Insurance, NY Life, Mobile Access Assistance of Florida, Volusia Gun Club, and Knick Knack Candleshack. The tasty treats were provided by The Rustick Road and S&S Cheesesteak food trucks. And this year we added a bounce house from Party in the USA LLC. Our volunteers from Warriors at Amazon were a HUGE help during the set up in the morning (Photo in front of the bounce house). AND we can't hold these events without YOU!!!! THANK YOU for those who attended and support each of our events every year.
